Speaking, Sharing and Connecting

storytelling
Every journey is unique and everyone has a story to tell. Effective speaking has to come from the soul, and may be caused by a deep “void” to connect–and truly be of service to humanity.
Your contribution to the “field” is your reward or punishment for adding value to the system.—Donny Epstein
Change happens through stories for some people.
My father died when I was 10 months old, leaving my mother with three girls under the age of five in 1971. Her grief, sorrow, and anxiety was insurmountable–she turned to valium, alcohol, and unresponsive men to numb the pain. That left her three girls in a volatile environment that included unsafe sexual situations for us, police visits, yelling matches, violence, and numerous boyfriends. Uprooting us to the USA and England and various places in Calgary with two more failed marriages, and three suicide attempts.
I was unknowingly depressed in my 20’s and diagnosed at 30 with Bipolar II Disorder. Because I was a seeker from a young age–asking questions like; who was I, why was I here, and now at 30, why was my brain misbehaving? I set out on a quest to solve my own riddle.
My biography, out later in 2020, is called; “The Hole in My Soul: A Bipolar Story of Hope and Healing” shares a thirty year personal journey into the depths of human possibility, despair and pain.
Allow me to harness my energy, love, and unique storytelling style to communicate and connect an uplifting personal journey of hope and healing to your audience. There are many funny stories of personal loss and struggles, peppered with colorful mania stories, and then eventually concluding with a solution, and daily practice that can be used by anyone, anytime–bipolar or not.
It would be my pleasure, my fulfillment and satisfaction to share my story of healing with you, your platform, or event.
Talks and Speeches by Lisa Marie
WomenTalk February 11th, 2020 in Cochrane, Alberta. This is my second talk for the group. I used up the 20 minutes this time, but you didn’t get to see me dance and sing “Burning Love” by Elvis Presley. This was so much fun and each time I get up on stage I am getting better and better!
This is my first public talk I did last year at the WomenTalk South Calgary location. (https://www.womentalk.ca/)
I shared my Bipolar journey with 30 women (I actually did a 8 min talk that was supposed to last for 20 min!). It was fun, fast and my first taste of public speaking. I so enjoyed it, and wanted to do it again, so I have signed up for their membership for the year! Let’s go ladies!
Teaching & Courses
Online course for men about life, love and women.
the superior Way - Communication just for men
I have created a communication portal on Facebook called: The Superior Way— a place to post ideas and thoughts around becoming the “Superior Man” as coined by David Deida. The Way of The Superior Man–his besting selling book for over twenty years.
This information and interaction is for men only, to assist, guide and mentor them in the area of relationships with women. Not many men understand women and the dynamics between the masculin and the feminine polarities. Questions like; Why doesn’t my wife want sex anymore, How come I find other women more attractive, Why can’t I find the career I love and much more. (And for the record many women do not understand men either.)
Men need to “penetrate the world” with their consciousness, that is their gift to the world, and woman need to “open” as the depth of love like the Universe.
I love men. I love talking to men, relating to men and communicating with them in their style–direct and to the point. I would like to share what I’ve learnt about how to be in relationship with women, find their purpose and heal their own hearts.
This is a great time for healing between the sexes to find love, keep love and to build a world of connection and depth of character.
