It all started when…

Isabel Academy is a guided learning space designed especially for gifted and curious children. Before we begin lessons, we want to help your brain and body feel settled, safe, and ready to learn.

At Isabel Academy, we know that different brains learn in different ways.

• Some brains like clear steps.

• Some brains like stories and connections.

• Some brains learn best through movement or feeling.

• Some brains need time and quiet to think.

This is the working web page for the Academy.

I created Isabel Academy while traveling through Portugal. It is a special school for kids like me who grew up (at times) without a safe place to create, wonder, and ask questions. Isabel Academy is a project I am working on currently. It is one of my missions in life, and has become deeply rewarding—it tugs at my heart to keep going—as we are all not gifted with a perceived perfect life, home and family.

I have found my own unique and innate perspective of the world, and I would like to share that with other students.
